Therapies and Other Treatments
As of 1 January 2023, children from Ukraine with temporary refuge have access to health care in the same way as Slovak children (from 0-18 years of age inclusive). This health care also covers children from Ukraine with health disadvantages and also covers specialist examinations, selected therapies and treatments for children from Ukraine which are reimbursed by health insurance up to the same amount as for Slovak children. Specialist therapies and treatments without a fee can only be used on the recommendation of a specialist doctor.

Autistic centre Adreas is a non-governmental organization working throughout Slovakia, established in 2001 with an objective to provide public benefit services in the field of social and humanitarian aid exclusively in population with autistic spectrum disorders. The centre offers the following services: social prevention, social counselling, education in special elementary school with kindergarten, as well as educational activities for experts. Our organization provides counselling, first consultation and therapies within our capacities.

ASD VISION Training Centre
Focuses on adolescents, children and adults with Asperger’s Syndrome, autism, visual impairments such as Norrie and Stargardt’s disease. Comprehensive preparation for kindergarten and elementary school with prevention of learning disabilities and development of social-communication skills (including delayed schooling), vocational preparation, and job-entry accompaniment for people with disabilities.
